Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby, hallways, and public restrooms to create a welcoming environment for guests. Perform regular floor care duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces to ensure they are spotless. Assist with the setup and breakdown of lobby events or functions as needed, contributing to a seamless guest experience. Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests with a friendly attitude, ensuring their needs are met efficiently. Conduct regular inspections of common areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them accordingly. Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are prepared for new arrivals and maintained throughout guests' stays. Uphold janitorial standards by using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Support overall hotel operations by assisting in various tasks as assigned by management.

Skills

Strong cleaning skills with experience in floor care techniques and equipment operation. Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred, showcasing your commitment to excellent guest service. Familiarity with janitorial practices and industrial cleaning methods is highly desirable. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills that foster positive interactions with guests and team members alike. Attention to detail that ensures all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness. Experience in housekeeping management is an asset, demonstrating your ability to oversee cleaning operations effectively.
