The following job description is to include but is not limited to. Answer telephone calls for Loan Department. Provide information or answers on basic lending questions from members. Responsible for directing member inquiries to appropriate lending staff. Perform a variety of support duties related to the lending function within the credit union.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist managers and staff to ensure the credit union is profitable by managing expenses and promoting credit union products and services to its members.
Greet and welcome members and visitors to the credit union in a professional manner. Provide prompt, efficient, and accurate service in the processing of transactions.
Answer telephone for the loan department professionally and courteously. Answer questions, provide information, and/or route calls to appropriate loan officer. Take messages and coordinate follow through.
Serve as a department receptionist, receiving members and guests to the loan department in a professional, courteous manner. Ensure that the individual receives prompt attention by loan officers.
File and maintain loan records on the computer. Ensure accuracy and completeness of work.
Assist members and employees with basic questions regarding lending services.
Mail or email loan applications and/or information to members and prospective members.
Schedule appointments with loan officers. Maintain and coordinate the department's calendar so that members are served with the highest quality.
Assist members with the loan application process to ensure completeness of information. Ensure that all members feel welcomed to the credit union and are supported professionally in the process.
Answer questions for members throughout the process. Explain the loan process to include loan options, insurance required on credit union loan products, loan policies, interest rates, payoffs, etc.
Balance the State National Force placed insurance General Ledger for Back Office Monthly.
Maintain a filing system and procedures to monitor that the required documentation is received and maintained appropriately and according to policies and procedures.
Notify vendor to place security interest of credit union on title document. Ensure that the documentation on titles is accurate and up?to?date.
Cross?sell credit union products and services.
Title maintenance - place & release liens, track members who need to bring liens in.
Follow up on Kasasa Loan Requests
Process Holiday Skip-a-Pays
Liaison for State National Insurance-Process Force Placed List every 2 weeks.
19. Responsible for initiating wire transfers for members requesting their loan proceeds to be wire transferred. This includes accurately keying in wire information and verifying available funds for the wire. All wire transfers will be approved by a second employee. If the wire transfer is above the dollar amount threshold stated in policy, the wire transfer will need to be approved by management or an MSR Supervisor.

21. Order Appraisal and CMA's for Mortgage Loan Officers.
Physical Demands

Qualifications
Employees should also be able to type, add, multiply and divide on a calculator; and operate a scanner, copy and postage machine and basic computer experience.

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Strong math, communication and keyboarding skills required.
Solid time management skills and the ability to organize prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
