Job Type:

Full-time

Pay:

$3,500 - $4,500 (with commission)

Schedule

: Monday to Friday (8-hour shifts)

Education:

Bachelor's Degree

Language Requirements:

English (required), and Chinese

License/Certification:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Review and evaluate assigned residential mortgage loan applications throughout the processing cycle Conduct initial assessments to confirm program eligibility, regulatory compliance, and file completeness Serve as a key point of coordination between the Loan Originator and internal teams, including Underwriting, Closing, and Finance Communicate with homeowners, advocates, and legal representatives to obtain required information and documentation Organize, maintain, and manage loan files in accordance with industry and internal standards Assemble complete loan packages and submit files to the underwriting team for reviewDeliver timely, professional, and responsive customer service to both internal stakeholders and external applicants Track loan progress and ensure milestone updates are entered accurately and on schedule Assist with additional loan origination and processing tasks as needed to support team operations

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally Proven customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders Excellent organizational and time-management abilities in a deadline-driven environment Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced setting Willingness to learn new processes, programs, and systems to support professional growth Ability to review, understand, and interpret mortgage and loan-related documentation Capable of working independently while also contributing as a collaborative team member Working knowledge of real estate finance concepts and mortgage industry terminology Solid analytical and problem-solving skills Familiarity with mortgage loan processing workflows and industry best practices Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications Demonstrated interest in supporting affordable homeownership and equitable community development Experience with Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and Salesforce is a plus

Experience

At least 1 year of experience working as a mortgage loan processor for a bank, credit union, or mortgage lender Previous experience performing loan processing duties for a Community Development Financial Institution is a plus
