Position Summary: Join our dynamic team as a Loan Operations Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our loan process. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be essential in performing loan research, resolving issues, and processing loan payoffs.
Essential Job Duties:

• Loan Booking: Accurately book new loans, renewals, modifications, letters of credit, and guidance lines of credit.
• SBA Loans: Handle the booking of new SBA loans and ensure compliance with 1502 reporting to the FTA.
• Document Management: Scan loan files and conduct thorough post-closing loan reviews.
• Payment Processing: Post payments, draws, and principal reductions with precision.
• Quality Control: Edit loans booked to the loan platform for accuracy and manage participation loan processing for both purchased and sold loans.
• Transaction Management: Clear loan unposted transactions and address general loan questions and research.
• Account Balancing: Balance loan general ledger clearing accounts and execute the recording/release of applicable documents.
• Exception Tracking: Maintain and report on document exception tracking.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Experience: Minimum of three years in Loan Operations.
• Education: College degree in a business-related field.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external clients.
• Problem-Solving: Strong ability to independently identify, analyze, and resolve technical problems related to the Bank's automated loan systems.
