The Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) will be organized with a strong attention to detail. During the first 6 months of employment, the LOA will train to become a Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer, taking courses and the exam to transition to a MLO role.
PRIMARY POSITION-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
? Assist Loan Officer in general administrative and clerical duties;
? Obtain loan documentation once loan application is received and ensure all documentation is
completed accurately for Loan Officer to proceed to the next phase of processing;
? Schedule appointments, calls, etc. for the Loan Officer and clients;
? Assist with branch marketing efforts to generate leads;
? Complete MLO training courses and exam.
? Complete other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
? Must have exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills;
? Must be dependable with meeting deadlines and managing time;
? Have an ability to work independently on multiple files simultaneously;
? Possess strong oral and written communication skills.
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
? High school diploma

The environment is characteristic of an office setting. Must be able to execute complex tasks on time
sensitive transactions, and be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
