Job Description

As a Mortgage Closer, you'll be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and finalizing closing documents to ensure accurate and timely loan closings. You'll work closely with processors, underwriters, title companies, and loan officers to make sure every detail aligns with federal, state, and company guidelines. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of the mortgage loan process. Responsibilities: o Prepare and review closing packages for accuracy and compliance with investor and regulatory requirements. o Balance and verify final figures with title companies prior to closing. o Coordinate funding of loans and ensure proper disbursement of funds. o Verify that all conditions and stipulations are cleared before closing. o Communicate effectively with title companies, loan officers, and processors to resolve last-minute issues. o Ensure all signed closing documents are returned, reviewed, and delivered to post-closing in a timely manner. o Provide excellent customer service to internal and external partners. Qualifications: o Minimum 1 year of experience in mortgage closing from a broker model setting or experience as a UWM Closer o Solid understanding of closing disclosures, funding processes, and compliance regulations. o Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. o High attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
