Job Summary

Seeking an experienced loan assistant to manage both consumer and commercial loan processing and service for two busy lenders.

Ideal candidate would have experience in Jack Henry core and LaserPro doc prep platform

. Candidate will handle the entire documentation prep process from application to loan closing.

What you'll do

Assist loan officers in the loan origination process by gathering necessary documentation and information from clients. Process loan applications efficiently, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications throughout the loan lifecycle. Collaborate with customer to facilitate timely closings and disbursements. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly. Utilize basic math skills and 10 key typing proficiency to ensure accuracy in data entry and calculations. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to enhance service delivery.

Experience

Proven experience in financial services or banking, preferably as a Loan Assistant or similar role. Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and TILA compliance is essential. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in loan processing tasks. Proficient in using computer systems for data entry, record keeping, and communication. Basic math skills are required for accurate calculations related to loans and interest rates.
