Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Loader / Unloader to join our warehouse team. This role involves efficiently handling materials, loading and unloading shipments, and supporting overall warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy equipment operation, warehouse management systems, and materials handling to ensure smooth and safe logistics processes.

Duties

Load and unload shipments using forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment Operate order pickers, RF scanners, and warehouse management systems to accurately process inventory Assist with order picking, shipping, and receiving tasks to fulfill customer orders efficiently Use crane or other heavy equipment for materials handling when necessary Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards during all operations Conduct routine inspections of equipment such as forklifts and mechanical tools Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency Support warehouse supervisors in managing inventory levels and workflow

Qualifications

Previous experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or construction environments preferred Proficiency with heavy equipment operation including forklift, crane, clamp truck, and pallet jack Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) are advantageous Experience with order picking, materials handling, and using RF scanners Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Warehouse supervisor experience or warehouse experience is a plus Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of heavy equipment operation Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
