Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Loader / Unloader to join our warehouse team. This role involves efficiently handling materials, loading and unloading shipments, and supporting overall warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy equipment operation, warehouse management systems, and safety protocols to ensure smooth and safe logistics processes.

Duties

Load and unload shipments using forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment Operate warehouse equipment such as cranes, RF scanners, and order pickers to fulfill shipping and receiving tasks Conduct order picking utilizing warehouse management systems and ensure accurate inventory handling Safely handle materials, ensuring proper stacking, storage, and transportation within the warehouse Assist with materials handling tasks including heavy lifting and mechanical operations as needed Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards Support shipping & receiving processes by verifying orders and preparing items for dispatch or storage Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues when necessary

Experience

Previous warehouse distribution or shipping & receiving experience preferred Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, or pallet jacks is highly desirable Background in construction or materials handling roles is a plus Familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF scanners is beneficial Prior supervisory experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous but not required Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations is preferred Experience with order picking, load & unload procedures, and heavy lifting activities required

Pay: $23.84 - $2,850.00 per hour
