Job Description
Operates the controls inside the enclosed cab of the loader to Facilitate sawmill operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:
1. Observes all safety rules and regulations and carries out all assigned duties safely.
2. Operates the controls inside the enclosed cab to move lumber, round wood, or residuals to facilitate the operation of the mills, kilns, and shipments.
3. Responsible for fueling, lubricating, daily maintenance, and safety checks on the machine during production hours as required by the operator maintenance checklist.
4. Re-piles or assists in re-piling any bundles of lumber that are broken open during movement.
5. Assists the other loader operators as needed when responsibilities allow and work towards fostering a team attitude with co-workers.
6. Carries out other work as required by supervisors.
7. Observes all safety rules and regulations and carries out assigned duties safely.
8. Adheres to all FCC regulations while operating the short wave radio.
9. Responsible for the cleanliness of cab interior.
10. Complies with chip contamination policy as applicable.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
