Live-In Care Contractor - Residential Support Agreement (Cheyenne, WY)

Compensation:

$1500 a month starting plus $750/month in housing, utilities, and internet (non-cash, in-kind value) Training, laptop, and relocation assistance (within Wyoming) included

Independent contractor opportunity providing residential support for

3-4 adults with intellectual disabilities

in a shared home.
Contractor lives on-site and ensures a safe, stable, and supportive environment in compliance with

Wyoming Department of Health

,

Medicaid Chapter 45

, and

CARF

standards.

This is not employment. Compensation is based on adherence to contractual requirements and state standards.

Five-bedroom home in quiet Cheyenne neighborhood Another live-in contractor also on-site for shared coverage Private locking bedroom with mini fridge Free internet, utilities, laundry, and fenced backyard

Key Responsibilities

Provide guidance, prompting, and supervision to adults served Support daily living skills, meals, and basic household tasks Assist with medication support and documentation in Therap Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful home atmosphere Coordinate coverage with the other contracted caregiver Follow each individual's Plan of Care (IPC) and all regulatory standards

Behavioral Expectations

Some individuals may display

challenging behaviors or emotional responses

Contractors must:

Use

calm, respectful de-escalation

techniques (training provided)

Never leave

individuals unattended Maintain professionalism and compliance with

Wyoming Department of Health

and

CARF

requirements
Non-conformance may result in

termination of service authorization

or removal from the approved contractor list.

Qualifications

Minimum 18 years old with high-school diploma or GED Pass Criminal, DFS, and OIG Exclusion background checks Valid driver's license, insured vehicle, and reliable transportation CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Medication Assistance & De-escalation Training (provided) General Liability Insurance required
