Summary

We are seeking a passionate Little TotTeacher to join our team at Lakeshore Little People's Place in the Hamilton area. This role is essential in shaping the early educational experiences of our students, ensuring they thrive in a safe and engaging environment that aligns with our Christian values.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children. Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Monitor children's progress and provide feedback to parents regarding their development. Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall learning experience. Maintain classroom organization and manage behavior effectively. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

CDA certification in 0-5 or Infant/Toddler age range. Proven experience working with infant/toddler-aged children. Strong understanding of childhood development principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus, but also can be provided for you. Ability to complete a background check through Michigan Child Care Background Check (MCCBC).

Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
