?? NorCal Litigation Associate - Law Enforcement Defense | Oakland, CA | Hybrid (2 Days Onsite)
A respected California law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate (5+ years) to join its Law Enforcement Defense practice in Oakland, CA .
This is an excellent opportunity to work on meaningful, high-impact cases for public entities, including police departments, cities, and counties, while collaborating with a team of seasoned litigators known for their courtroom skill and strategic insight.
? About the Role
The successful candidate will:
Represent public agencies and law enforcement clients in complex civil litigation matters.
Handle all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, client communication, and trial preparation.
Appear in court, arbitrations, and mediations.
Work closely with experienced trial attorneys in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Hybrid Schedule: Must be able to work onsite in the Oakland office at least two days per week.
? What You'll Bring
5+ years of litigation experience (law enforcement defense, civil rights, or public entity litigation strongly preferred).
Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
California Bar admission in good standing (required).
A proactive, team-oriented mindset and ability to manage a busy caseload independently.

? Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $140,000 - $220,000 (commensurate with experience)
