Position Summary

Republic Jet Center is seeking a full-time

Line Service Technician

to join our Operations Team in Farmingdale, NY. This hands-on, safety-critical role involves the ground handling of corporate aircraft, including parking, towing, fueling, and hangar operations. As a frontline representative of RJC, you will interact with elite flight departments and high-profile passengers, ensuring exceptional service at every touchpoint.

Key Responsibilities

Marshal, park, tow, and move aircrafts arriving or departing on the ramp area, as well as assist with wing-walking duties Perform fueling and de-icing services Provide lavatory and potable water service Assist with baggage and cargo handling for passengers and crew Operate shuttle vehicles for crew and passengers Maintain cleanliness of ramp, hangars, and customer areas Support customer service operations and concierge tasks Conduct daily quality control checks on fueling equipment Receive inventory for fuel farm Load fuel trucks and receive fuel deliveries Perform routine maintenance on ground support equipment Complete required inspections and documentation accurately Assist with other duties as assigned

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

Work may be performed outdoors in varying weather conditions (exposure to jet engine fumes, noise, dust, etc.)

Must be able to:

Regularly stand, walk, and use hands and arms Lift and/or move up to 40 pounds Clearly communicate in English (spoken and written) Read and interpret safety rules, procedures, and technical documentation Apply concepts of basic math to calculate figures and amounts, such as - discounts, percentages, and area and volume Safely operate vehicles in congested ramp areas Distinguish colors and spatial distances for safe aircraft and vehicle movement Wear required company uniform and insignia

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required Minimum 1 year of experience as a Line Service Technician or in aviation ground handling (preferred) Must be at least 18 years old Valid state-issued driver's license Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset Commitment to safety and customer service excellence
