We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role requires a blend of creativity, teamwork, and attention to detail, ensuring that every dish meets our restaurant's exceptional standards.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and marinating.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food handling practices.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience for guests.
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning equipment and utensils after use.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities is a plus.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills, including knife skills.
Understanding of food safety standards and best practices in the dietary department.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
English and Spanish speaking is a plus.
