Job Summary
Sage Valley is seeking passionate and career-driven culinarians for multiple line cook positions, including rounds, saucier, and other stations. This is an exciting opportunity to work in one of the most prestigious private club kitchens in the country and grow within a high-performance, professional culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing food to the exact specifications of our Executive Chef and Sous Chefs, contributing to a seamless and elevated member experience.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and execute high-quality dishes in accordance with club standards, recipes, and plating guidelines
Set up and maintain cleanliness and organization of stations with all necessary supplies
Perform daily prep including vegetable chopping, meat butchering, and sauce preparation
Cook menu items in cooperation with the kitchen brigade while maintaining pace and accuracy
Follow direction from Executive and Sous Chefs and contribute to a positive team culture
Ensure food is prepared and served promptly, consistently, and beautifully
Comply with food safety, sanitation, and club safety procedures
Assist with food storage, inventory, and minimizing kitchen waste
Participate in breakdown and cleaning duties at the end of shifts
Maintain a professional and polished appearance and demeanor at all times
Qualifications & Requirements
1-3 years of proven experience in fine dining restaurants, luxury resorts, or private clubs
Culinary degree or formal kitchen training preferred but not required
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food preparation methods
Exceptional knife skills and the ability to execute precise plating
Accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail under pressure
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as required
Food Handler's certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and move heavy items for extended periods
