Pay Range: $15-$18 per hour (Based on Experience)

Shift: Full-Time | Flexible Scheduling | Immediate Opening

Position Summary: Life Enrichment Director

The Life Enrichment Director is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing a diverse schedule of life-enriching activities, programs, and events that promote wellness, creativity, and social engagement among residents.



You will design programs that support physical, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive well-being while fostering a sense of community and belonging.


You will also collaborate closely with other department leaders to support occupancy development and community involvement through innovative events and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and lead engaging daily, weekly, and monthly activities and programs for residents in both Assisted Living and Memory Care. Coordinate entertainment, group outings, exercise programs, arts and crafts, educational sessions, and special events. Foster relationships with local organizations, volunteers, and families to enhance community engagement. Create and manage monthly activity calendars that reflect residents' interests and abilities. Promote and participate in community marketing events that showcase Charter's mission and values. Supervise and motivate Life Enrichment team members and volunteers. Ensure programs comply with all applicable state regulations and community policies.

Qualifications

Experience: 1 or more years of experience in Life Enrichment, Activity Coordination, or Recreational Programming (senior living experience preferred)

Skills: Excellent communication, organization, and event-planning abilities; creative and energetic personality

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree or certification in Recreation Therapy, Social Work, or related field preferred

Other Requirements:

Must enjoy working with seniors and have a positive, compassionate attitude Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for special events Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist residents as needed
