GENERAL DESCRIPTION:




Provides technical leadership to the data management tasks carried out by the resources to develop new processes, modify them, or integrate them following company and technical requirements. Assumes a technical leadership role specialized in initiatives and projects for internal or external clients, by gaining an understanding of data requirements, fostering effective coordination across Information Technology (IT) teams, and ensuring that resources adhere to best practices, regulatory requirements, and enterprise standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:





Leads the technical execution process of managing and centralizing data from internal or external clients. Ensures alignment with business, transformation, and data quality rules.


Participates in defining requirements and designing projects as required, and evaluates user requests to develop new processes, modify them, or integrate them.


Serves as the link between the team members, developers, managers, and clients to ensure the initiatives and projects are completed following the established standards.


Serves as an expert in identifying and resolving system problems along with the appropriate resources. Provides support to the work team regarding the reported situations. Participates in conversations to recommend changes or improvements to the process.


Translates functional requirements into technical requirements, such as flowcharts and diagrams, using their programming knowledge to develop the technological solutions the users need.


Analyzes, summarizes, and documents the information obtained from the user who consumes the data, to design centralized solutions aligned with the company's strategies.


Transcribes and integrates functional requirements needing processes, equipment, and systems to meet user expectations and provides scalable service in the short and long term.


Supports teams in the acceptance tests of the solutions developed.


Ensures compliance with Enterprise Data Governance policies and standards on information risks and data protection guidelines.


Identifies areas of opportunity to improve the department's services and provides training on the proper handling and use of development tools.


Prepares reports or presentations on the status of projects or tasks assigned according to needs. Executes the plans of each project within the defined time and guarantees compliance with the delivery of the final project following the established standards. Must comply fully and consistently with all company policies and procedures, with local and federal laws as well as with the regulations applicable to our Industry, to maintain appropriate business and employment practices. May carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned, according to the requirements of education and experience contained in this document.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:



Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related areas. At least five (5) years of experience in data warehouse, database administration, information system development, programming, or related areas.

Other:

Acknowledge in any of these programs: VB, C#, Json, XML, and others according to the need. Proficiency with Microsoft Azure and Data Warehouse technologies is preferable. Proficiency in TSQL and SQL Server Integration Services language is preferable.
