Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in clinical counseling and demonstrate expertise in providing therapeutic support to individuals facing various challenges. This role involves working with diverse populations, including those with chronic pain, disabilities, and special education needs. The counselor will engage in both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing telehealth platforms as needed.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client assessments. Provide individual counseling sessions focusing on behavioral therapy techniques. Facilitate group therapy sessions to promote peer support and shared experiences. Offer chronic pain counseling to help clients manage their conditions effectively. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within hospital settings to ensure holistic care. Support clients with disabilities through tailored therapeutic approaches. Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical standards. Utilize telehealth technology to deliver counseling services remotely when necessary.

Qualifications

Valid license as a Professional Counselor in the state of practice. Experience in clinical counseling, particularly with individual and group therapy settings. Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation methods and treatment planning. Knowledge of special education practices is a plus. Experience working with chronic pain management is preferred. Proficient in providing behavioral therapy techniques. Ability to effectively utilize telehealth platforms for remote counseling services. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Pay: $48,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
