Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in behavioral health and demonstrate proficiency in various therapeutic modalities. This role involves providing mental health support to clients, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans tailored to individual needs. The counselor will work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients facing various challenges.

Multi State Licenses are preferred. Experience working with Trauma, PTSD, Anxiety, TBI and concussion patients are also preferred.

Responsibilities



Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations and assessments of clients' mental health needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client goals and evidence-based practices. Provide counseling services utilizing various therapeutic techniques, including behavioral therapy, crisis intervention, and dance therapy. Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and case management activities in compliance with ICD-10 coding standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support for clients, including special education services when applicable. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in psychopharmacology and behavioral health.

Qualifications



Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. Current state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Experience in crisis intervention, case management, and diagnostic evaluation is preferred. Familiarity with behavioral therapy techniques and the ability to apply them effectively in sessions. Knowledge of ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation is a plus. Experience or training in special education or dance therapy is advantageous but not required. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and reporting.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
