Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

\xc2\xb7 Provide bedside care. Administer medications and document therapeutic effects

\xc2\xb7 Take vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration)

\xc2\xb7 Assist with resident comfort

\xc2\xb7 Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas

\xc2\xb7 Collect samples and monitor catheters

\xc2\xb7 Provide wound care

\xc2\xb7 Help coach staff as necessary

Requirements of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

\xc2\xb7 Associate\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Nursing preferred

\xc2\xb7 Up to date first aid and CPR certification

\xc2\xb7 Current LPN license North Carolina

\xc2\xb7 Exceptional staff training and customer service skills

\xc2\xb7 Compassionate and friendly demeanor
