COULD THIS BE YOU

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be responsible for providing patient support and communication and facilitating an exceptional patient experience to build and reinforce satisfaction, trust, and drive organizational loyalty. Accountable for welcoming and preparing the patient for their appointment, the Licensed Practical Nurse informs patients of relevant and required information for their visit and provides clear communication around the services they are scheduled to receive.

How You Will Get Things Done:

  • Perform point-of-care laboratory tests, EKGs as ordered or indicated, and suture/staple removal, and dressing changes, and other patient care activities
  • Collect and documents vital signs, histories, and screenings
  • Authorize prescription refills as directed
  • Prepare patients, room, and supplies for visit or examination
  • Perform phlebotomy and correctly processes specimens
  • Clean and maintain treatment rooms and equipment
How You Will Build Trust:
  • Demonstrate kindness and compassion in all patient interactions
  • Effectively communicate unexpected schedule delays to patients and assists with patient comfort should delays arise
  • Participate in brand marketing rotating throughout the vestibule, with a focus on engaging and increasing patient volume
How You Will Innovate:
  • Prepare and administer PO, IM, and ID medications as directed by the Provider, utilizing the \xe2\x80\x9cRights of Vaccine or Medication Administration\xe2\x80\x9d
  • Provide instruction to the patient regarding medications and diet
  • Perform quality controls and equipment checks
EXPERIENCE TO DRIVE CHANGE
  • Active, unencumbered LPN license required
  • 1 year of experience preferred
  • Phlebotomy experience required
  • Current BLS certification for healthcare providers preferred; required within 90 days of employment
  • High School Diploma/Equivalency required
  • Experience in primary care, family practice, internal medicine, urgent care or ER preferred
