Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. Duties

Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history intake, and physical examinations. Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans. Perform IV infusions and catheter care as needed. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care effectively. Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention. Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide emotional support. Participate in discharge planning and case management for continuity of care.

Requirements

Valid LPN license in the state of practice. Experience in critical care, long-term care, or assisted living preferred. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks is advantageous. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Proficiency in medication administration, phlebotomy, venipuncture, and basic life support techniques. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or Alzheimer's care is a plus. Ability to perform triage duties and manage acute pain effectively. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to infection control protocols. Pay: $31.34 - $37.74 per hour
