Polished Prep Academy -- one of Georgia's few dedicated nail technology schools -- is seeking a passionate and professional

Nail Technology Instructor

to lead our

Night Program

. This is your chance to shape the next generation of licensed nail technicians and support students through an empowering, skill-building journey.

We are specifically seeking

licensed Nail Instructors

(not cosmetology instructors) who can uphold the integrity of our nail-only curriculum and teach with purpose, patience, and passion.

About the Role

As our Night Instructor, you will:

Teach our

state-approved curriculum

using Polished Prep's proven lesson plans, pacing guides, and materials Lead

hands-on labs and theory classes

with confidence, ensuring students master both technical and safety skills Maintain student attendance, practical hours, and progress documentation accurately Create a

positive, professional classroom culture

that supports learning and retention Assist with administrative and clerical tasks as needed Uphold state board standards and school policies Be an encouraging mentor and role model to aspiring licensed professionals

Schedule

Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays

from

5 PM - 10:00 PM

Two Saturdays per month

(typically 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM or as needed for student hour completion)

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED Completion of an Nail Technology Instructor program

Active Georgia Nail Technician - current on trends

Minimum 2 years of recent, paid experience

in the nail industry Ability to work the schedule listed above Strong communication, leadership, and time management skills

Preferred:

Georgia Nail Instructor License

(preferred over Cosmetology Instructor License) Previous teaching or training experience
Physical Requirements

This position involves classroom and lab instruction which may include standing, walking, or bending for up to 5 hours at a time. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and work around salon-related chemicals.

Compensation

Probationary Pay:

$18-$20/hour during initial evaluation period

Increased Rate:

Up to $25/hour based on performance, attendance, and licensing

Job Type:
