NYS Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)

We are seeking a full-time, New York State Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), to join our outpatient, mental health clinical team at Symphony Medical. This role will be a hybrid of telehealth and in-person services, at our outpatient office in Dobbs Ferry, Westchester County, NY. This job is from 9:30 am \xe2\x80\x93 5:30 pm, with 35 client visits per week expected.

Job Details:

• Conduct patient intake and assessment to identify emotional, social, and environmental barriers related to their treatment and/or life situation.
• Ability to diagnose independently using DSM-5-TR.
• Develop treatment plans to address mental, emotional, behavioral, developmental, and addictive disorders, impairments, and disabilities, reactions to illnesses, injuries, disabilities and social problems.
• Provide person-centered psychotherapy, both short- and long-term to individuals, couples, families and groups.
• The ability to safely manage patients in crisis.
• Facilitate the care plan across a multidisciplinary care continuum, which may include interacting with consulting physicians, other health care providers, billing and/or third-party payers.
• Familiarity with local mental health and case management resources to make referrals as appropriate.
• Timely documentation in the medical record in accordance with department policies and OMH guidelines.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
• Maintain a working knowledge of relevant medical/legal issues that impact patient care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Master\'s Degree and NYS license to practice social work (LMSW) from a confidential, physical location in the State of New York.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage patients.
• Ability to work both collaboratively with others as well as independently.
• Bilingual preferred

• $65-$70K annually, commensurate with experience.
• Clinical Supervision towards LCSW licensure.
