We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team in our brand new salon and spa space. Opportunity to apply as our lead therapist. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various massage techniques, while demonstrating exceptional patient service and assessment skills. This role is vital in providing therapeutic relief and enhancing the overall well-being of our clients.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and tailor massage treatments accordingly. Perform a variety of massage techniques, focusing on deep tissue and trigger point therapy to address pain management and promote relaxation. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients, ensuring adherence to all health and safety regulations. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to inform treatment plans and enhance client outcomes. Document treatment sessions accurately, using appropriate medical terminology to maintain clear communication with other healthcare professionals. Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with clients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring a positive experience during each visit. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in occupational health and wellness practices.

Experience

Valid state license as a Massage Therapist is required. Proven experience in patient service with a focus on therapeutic massage techniques. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is essential for effective treatment planning. Experience in a med spa environment is preferred but not mandatory. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. A commitment to ongoing professional development in massage therapy practices and techniques.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $100.00 - $500.00 per day

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
