Responsibilities: o Provide warm and professional customer service while onboarding new clients and maintain existing clients, including booking appointments, inquiry response, insurance eligibility, claim submissions questions concerning billing and insurance policies o Identify new client insurance needs, insurance risk, goals, current coverage, and financial situation by scheduling meetings for new customers, ensuring a personalized experience o Ensure all contracting paperwork is up to date while maintaining databases, records, and bookkeeping o Assist current policyholders during the insurance claims process while overseeing existing insurance claims o Grow new business by generating a prospective customer base and advertise our insurance products via networking, asking for referrals, cold calling, and other marketing strategies Qualifications: o Skilled with Microsoft Office o Client service experience as a sales representative a plus o Active Life & Health insurance license is a strong bonus o Background in the health insurance or life insurance industries preferred o Must have graduated high school or received GED, a Bachelor's degree is desired o Must live in or near Long Island, Brooklyn, or Queens About Company: About NYL - Melville: We are among the strongest and most respected financial companies in the world.
