Position Information
This position supports the Mission, Values and Vision of Carolina Family Health Centers, Inc. We are seeking a full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker to be part of our progressive movement towards holistic healthcare. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker would be a part of a team providing integrated behavioral health consultation to children, adolescents, adults, and families, in order to improve psychosocial functioning.

This position may include addressing mental health and substance abuse conditions, health behaviors (including their contribution to chronic medical illnesses), life stressors and crises, stress-related physical symptoms and ineffective patterns of health care utilization. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker would also assist the team of primary care physicians in developing care management processes such as the use of guidelines, disease management techniques, case management, and patient education.

THIS POSITION OFFERS A 40-HOUR WORKWEEK, NO WEEKENDS, FULL BENEFITS PACKAGE, ON-CALL PAY, 12 PAID HOLIDAYS, BI-WEEKLY PAY!

Experience Requirements / Minimum Qualifications
Demonstrated working knowledge of brief, evidence-based treatment modalities.
Ability to manage the pace of primary care and work with an interdisciplinary team.

Education Required
Master\'s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

Licensure/Certification Requirements
Fully licensed LCSW, licensed to practice in the state of North Carolina, is preferred.
Associate Licensed LCSW will be considered.
Recent graduate will be considered.

Hours of Work
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, 8am-5pm
Thursday, 11am-8pm

Physical Requirements
Constant standing and walking, occasional bending, stooping, lifting, reaching forward and overhead.
May occasionally be required to lift patients, office equipment and paper, usually not exceeding fifty pounds of direct lift.
Frequent computer work required.
Must have transportation available during the workday for frequent local travel within and out of the community.

Vaccination Requirements
As a Medicaid/Medicare facility, Carolina Family Health Centers must comply with the Federal COVID-19 vaccination mandates. Therefore, as of January 27, 2022, new and existing employees must have received, at a minimum, the first dose of the primary series (Moderna or Pfizer) or a single dose COVID-19 vaccine (Janssen), have requested a lawful exemption, or been granted a lawful exemption.
