We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health services to individuals and families, focusing on a range of issues including trauma, addiction, and developmental disabilities. The LCSW will work collaboratively with clients to develop treatment plans, conduct assessments, and facilitate therapeutic interventions in both individual and group settings.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide psychotherapy using various modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and motivational interviewing.
Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions addressing issues like PTSD, addiction, and behavioral health.
Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients in acute distress.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including intake forms, progress notes, and treatment plans.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for patients with complex needs, including those with developmental disabilities or autism.
Engage in clinical research and data collection to improve treatment outcomes and contribute to best practices in social work.
Provide home and community care services as needed, ensuring support extends beyond the clinical setting.
Skills
Proficiency in EMR systems for effective patient record management.
Experience with child & family counseling and working with children in a therapeutic context.
Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with CPT coding and ICD coding (ICD-9 & ICD-10).
Strong background in crisis management, case management, and diagnostic evaluation.
Ability to perform behavioral therapy techniques including applied behavior analysis.
Familiarity with geriatric care principles and psychopharmacology related to mental health treatment.
Skills in conducting clinical research and applying findings to enhance patient care practices.
Understanding of special education needs for clients requiring tailored interventions.
