Responsibilities
Implement individualized behavioral therapy programs based on treatment plans developed by licensed clinicians, ensuring consistency and fidelity to ABA principles
Collect and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
Support patient assessments and intake procedures by gathering relevant information and observing behaviors in various settings
Assist in conducting diagnostic evaluations and behavioral health assessments to identify needs and develop tailored interventions
Maintain accurate medical documentation, records, and notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and legal standards are met
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care plans, including special education professionals and medical staff
Engage with children and individuals with disabilities using positive reinforcement techniques to promote skill development and independence
Experience
Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred
Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), is essential
Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and patient assessment procedures is advantageous
Experience in data collection, documentation, and maintaining HIPAA compliance ensures high-quality care delivery
Background working within behavioral health or special education environments demonstrates your ability to adapt to diverse needs
Strong communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and team members are vital for success in this role
