You are a partner with Tech and Design that execute on strategies, has a broad set of stakeholders, and partnerships that deliver best in class products. A role as a Product Manager Associate is for you.

As a Product Manager Associate you will partner with both business stakeholders and engineering teams to research, design and execute upon the Business Banking Lending Roadmap. You will play an integral role in ensuring that projects run on time, within budget and in accordance with firm-wide guidelines, including risk and architecture. This will involve managing complex initiatives and designing features that address the needs of clients and modernize our platforms.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Product Vision & Definition - Understand the business need through stakeholder engagement and help define the product\'s vision, solution design, and operating model. Measure the value that the product bring to our customers and our business.
  • Product Discovery- Collaborate with partners to lead discovery which will result in customer journey mapping in order to curate a backlog of epics to present to various scrum teams
  • Data & Business Analysis - Analyze data needs and end user requirements in a structured manner. Support translating the analysis into a tangible and tactical work plan and next steps in the context of product\'s vision and objectives (epics).
  • Product Deployment - Collaborate with the functional teams (area product owners, software engineers, testers, and project managers) to ensure end-to-end delivery of the product. Identify and manage dependencies and/or opportunities for collaboration while following core Agile principles (user stories).
  • Product Adoption - Facilitate adoption of the product by demonstrating value proposition to stakeholders with impactful use cases.
  • Product Assessment - Employ data analytics to measure the success of the product. Support establishing a framework and operating model to continue ensuring the quality of the product over time.
  • Data Governance & Controls - Engage Compliance, Controls, Legal, Fair Lending, and Risk business partners throughout product development. Follow CCB\'s data use, privacy, legal, and compliance guidelines as well as be contribute to the firm\'s enhancement of data governance, use, and management principles and tools

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor\'s degree required, technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, etc.) preferred
  • 5+ year experience in analytical or technical capacity (Technology, Business Analysis, Product Development, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Agile methodology and development, Jira, Confluence, Figma, PowerPoint, Visio, Tableau
  • Excellent verbal and written skills and ability to work well in cross-functional teams
  • Ability to partner across various disciplines and levels of technical knowledge
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and a track record demonstrating a high level of personal initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals, and demonstrating entrepreneurial leadership
  • Ability to quickly gain an understanding of Business Banking and its priorities while working in a matrixed environment and ability to work in an environment of strong risk and controls
