Essential Functions:

• Maintain a professional and welcoming presence at the spa desk
• Coordinate appointments using spa booking software, check voicemail, and return all calls within 24 hours
• Update the reservations/cancellations list throughout the day, inform providers of changes, and resolve scheduling issues as needed
• Check in guests for appointments provide general spa and amenity orientation to guests upon arrival
• Process bi-weekly payroll for 1099 contractors (therapists)
• Promote and sell spa services and spa retail products
• Maintain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of all transactions for the spa and if needed perform cash drop procedure in Accounting
• Process guest payments for spa services
• Weekly supply inventory and completing purchase requests for all products and supplies for submission to Spa Manager for approval
• Responsible to maintain product levels in treatments rooms, ensure therapists clean and sanitize equipment and room both between services and prior to departure for the day
• Monitor Fitness Center, checking in guests with appointments and making future fitness appointments
• Notify maintenance of repair needs
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to Manager
• Perform all other duties as assigned
• Must be able to assist in other departments when needed
• When booking, ask guest for any information regarding medical history pertaining to spa treatments, pregnancies or under aged guests.

Education/Experience Required:

• High School Diploma or GED

Specific Skills Required:

• Must be well organized and detail oriented
• Possess a strong ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Self-motivated/ Team Player
• Sales motivated / Customer Service oriented
• Must have a positive attitude and approachable demeanor
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Communicate quickly and effectively with dissatisfied or disgruntled guests
• Proficient computer skills that will ensure reservations will be made in a timely, efficient and error free manner.
• Knowledge of computer applications

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift and or push up to 30lbs, move, stand, walk, crouch/stoop, kneel, repetitive hand/wrist motion, reach, bend, see, recognize, distinguish convey information and converse with staff & guests with great consistency.
