Lecturer or Tenure-Track Assistant/Associate Professor of Supply Chain Management
Job Summary:
The Department of Marketing, Agribusiness, and Supply Chain Management at the University of Nebraska at Kearney is seeking applications for a Lecturer or Tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor of Supply Chain Management position that will begin in August 2026. The position is focused on championing the department's highly successful Supply Chain Management (SCM) program. The SCM program is seeking dynamic and engaged candidates with expertise in the field of Supply Chain Management. A successful candidate will have the ability to teach in multiple areas related to the SCM discipline. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and hands-on, experiential learning and be eager to collaborate with industry partners to enhance student opportunities. Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in SCM, participating in internal and external service activities, and advising and interacting with students. Tenure-track appointments require scholarly research and publication related to the SCM discipline. Lecturers will have a teaching load of four classes per semester with no scholarship requirement and must commit to completing a doctorate in SCM or an SCM-related field within 5 years of hire. Additional responsibilities for Tenure-track appointments and Lecturers may include advising and mentoring students, participating in student recruitment efforts, supporting the student-run Supply Chain Management Organization (SCMO), and building industry relationships that are beneficial to the SCM program.
