Best Chairs is currently looking for qualified individuals interested in a Leather Cutting position at our Ferdinand Indiana Facility.

Cutting SupervisorOur Leather Cutting Associates work in a fast pace, group hourly + bonus incentive environment.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment follow standardized work in a continuous improvement environment Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus Operate manual cutter and follow pattern to cut multiple pieces and multiple lays of fabric with a strong focus on quality of work Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product with minimal wasted time and materials Perform tasks with a high focus on safety and quality Take fabric rolls from wing cart and lift on roll rack Layout fabric rolls Carry bundles away from folding table and place on carts
Other Job Qualification Factors:
Experience as a Machine Operator Knowledge of Production Procedures Perform tasks with a high focus on safety Attention to Detail Teamwork orientated Ability to lift fabric rolls Ability to stand and walk entire shift Self Motivated
Education or experience required:
High school or equivalentIndividual accepting this job assignment must be able to perform the following essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations. Other duties may be assigned.
