Position Overview

The Sound at St. Martin is seeking an energetic and customer-focused

Leasing Agent

to join our team in Biloxi, MS. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys connecting with people, and takes pride in helping residents find their perfect home.

As a Leasing Agent, you'll be responsible for driving leasing performance, supporting marketing efforts, and delivering an exceptional experience for prospects and residents alike.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeasing & Sales

Greet and tour prospective residents, highlighting community features and amenities. Follow up promptly with all leads to convert traffic into signed leases. Prepare and execute leases, renewals, and move-in/move-out documentation accurately. Assist with achieving and maintaining budgeted occupancy goals. Track leasing metrics including traffic, conversion rates, and renewals.

Marketing & Outreach

Support marketing campaigns, social media efforts, and community reputation management. Conduct local outreach to nearby businesses, schools, and employers to generate qualified leads. Maintain market awareness to ensure competitive pricing and promotions. Help plan and host resident events that build community engagement.

Resident Relations & Customer Service

Provide outstanding service to residents through timely, professional communication. Address questions, concerns, and maintenance follow-ups with empathy and urgency. Assist with move-ins and move-outs to ensure a positive resident experience.

Administrative Support

Maintain accurate records in property management software. Organize lease files, applications, and correspondence. Assist with rent collection follow-up and office administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

Prior leasing or customer service experience preferred (property management experience a plus). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Yardi experience preferred. Ability to multitask and remain professional under pressure. Working knowledge of Fair Housing laws. Reliable transportation and ability to work weekends.

Compensation

Pay Based on Experience.

Full-Time (Minimum 40 hours per week) Leasing Commissions & Performance Bonuses

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
