A successful leasing consultant candidate will be energetic, outgoing, and have previous sales, and or previous commission-based sales experience. Job duties include marketing touring and leasing the community to prospective residents and supporting the overall property operations with excellent customer service.

Essential Functions:

Greet and welcome, prospects, applicants, residents' visitors to the leasing office. Answers phones courteously and responds to inquiries promptly. Tracks all phone and walk-in traffic; prepare weekly traffic reports. Show models and made ready vacant apartments to prospective residents, and follow-up with potential residents. Ensures that leasing files are complete, and the applicant move-in process is executed property in accordance with the company's and the community's established policies and procedures. Assist applicants with application process, and gather all supporting documentation Maintain the required closing ratio of 40%. Maintain marketing and collateral materials. Manage vacancies by maintaining vacancy report daily, performing all checklist items to prepare vacant unit for move-in. Develop creative strategies with the support of the community manager to market the property to target audience.

Experience & Skills

Sales, and or previous commission-based sales experience Minimum High school diploma/GED required with Associates Degree highly preferred Professional image with strong company integrity Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to multi-task with ease and professionalism Highly refined verbal communication skills Flexible schedule, including some weekends Yardi and CRM experience a plus
