Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the leasing process for our properties, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial real estate leasing and a passion for helping clients find their perfect home.

Responsibilities

Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants. Assist applicants with the leasing process, including completing applications and processing necessary documentation. Maintain knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and ensure compliance in all leasing activities. Manage tenant relations, addressing inquiries and resolving conflicts effectively. Utilize property management software such as Rent Manager and HubSpot for data entry and record keeping. Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure properties are well-maintained and ready for showings. Upsell additional services or amenities to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention. Prepare and manage leasing contracts, ensuring all terms are clearly communicated to tenants. Stay informed about local landlord-tenant laws, Section 8 requirements, and other relevant regulations.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with a focus on building relationships. Proficient in property management software (Rent Manager, HubSpot) and data entry tasks. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to upsell services effectively. Experience in conflict management and resolution within a real estate context. Familiarity with legal administrative processes related to property leasing and contracts. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in filing and documentation tasks. Ability to communicate effectively over the phone with excellent phone etiquette.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
