Position Summary

As a

Leasing Consultant

, you'll be the first point of contact for future residents -- guiding them through tours, applications, and move-ins while ensuring they have an exceptional experience. The majority of your day will be spent

on the phones and online

, reaching out to incoming leads, following up with prospects, and converting inquiries into scheduled tours and signed leases. You'll play a vital role in maintaining communication flow, managing lead pipelines, and ensuring every potential resident receives prompt, professional attention.

Responsibilities

Respond promptly to phone, email, and online inquiries about available properties.

Conduct in-person and virtual property tours, highlighting features and benefits.

Market available units across rental platforms and social media.

Process rental applications, verify income, and complete background screenings.

Maintain accurate records of leads, tours, applications, and signed leases.

Follow up with leads to convert prospects into residents.

Support the property management team with renewals and resident retention efforts.

Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and Cresfund policies.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in customer service or sales (real estate or property management preferred). Strong communication and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and online listing platforms. Detail-oriented and self-motivated with a professional demeanor. Reliable transportation for travel between properties. Ability to work occasional weekends for tours or events.

Preferred:

Experience with AppFolio or similar property management software.

Familiarity with Fair Housing laws and leasing regulations.

Schedule

8-hour day shift (Monday-Friday)

Occasional weekend flexibility for property tours questions.
