Job Description

MUST HAVE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE!

The

Leasing Agent

is responsible for leasing apartments to prospective residents, handling renewals, and providing excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for current and potential residents. This role requires a balance of sales skills, customer service, and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct Property Tours:

Show apartments to prospective residents, highlighting amenities, and effectively communicating the benefits of the property.

Manage Leasing Process:

Guide prospective residents through the leasing process, from initial inquiry to lease signing, including application processing and background checks.

Assist with Resident Relations:

Address resident inquiries, handle renewals, and assist with resolving resident issues to ensure resident satisfaction.

Market the Community:

Participate in marketing initiatives, including online listings, social media updates, community events, and outreach.

Maintain Accurate Records:

Keep detailed records of all leasing transactions, resident communications, and maintenance requests in the system.

Collaborate with Team Members:

Work closely with maintenance, management, and other team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications:

Experience:

Previous experience in leasing and property management,

Customer Service Skills:

Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.

Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Organizational Skills:

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Tech Savvy:

Comfortable using property management software and basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, email, etc.).

Availability:

Must be available for weekend hours and some holidays.

Work Environment



Functions daily in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment. Spends part of the day in a climate controlled shared office space. Travels around to various properties to perform inspections or show properties to potential clients.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $49,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
