Section 8, Eden, and Parma housing programs

to join our team.

Position Summary:

The Leasing Agent will be responsible for marketing available units, processing applications, coordinating with housing authorities, and ensuring compliance with all affordable housing requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Section 8 vouchers, Eden Housing, and Parma Housing programs, as well as a strong understanding of local housing regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Market and show available rental properties to prospective tenants Process rental applications, verify eligibility, and prepare lease agreements Coordinate with Section 8, Eden, and Parma Housing authorities to ensure proper documentation and compliance Manage lease renewals, inspections, and move-in/move-out procedures Maintain accurate and organized tenant files and reports Provide excellent customer service to current and prospective tenants Collaborate with property management to resolve tenant concerns and maintenance requests

Qualifications:

2+ years of leasing or property management experience required

Strong knowledge of Section 8, Eden, and Parma Housing procedures

Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Reliable transportation to travel between properties in Cleveland, Lorain, and Akron

Preferred:

Familiarity with additional affordable housing programs in Northeast Ohio Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
