Leasing Consultant:


JOB DESCRIPTION

Non-Exempt

Reports to:

Regional Manager

Essential Job Requirements



Showing prospective applicants vacant apartments Collecting and processing required verifications and certifications Relaying accurate and complete applications and certifications to Deputy CFO and RealPage Software Attend court hearings as a representative of NNCH properties Tracking each apartment including size, qualifications, and assistance type Accurately recording rental and miscellaneous payments Assist in creating annual property budgets

Physical Requirements



Carrying, pushing, or pulling up to twenty pounds Repetitive use of hands, finger dexterity and fine manipulation Sitting and standing for long periods of time Ability to walk up and down stairs Ability to use a computer and telephone

Mental Requirements



Handling stressful situations professionally Effective verbal and written communication Ability to prioritize tasks by deadline or importance Ability to be trained, learn, and retain knowledge of training Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure Ability to remember names, addresses, phone numbers, and other details Maintaining current knowledge of HOME, Tax Credit, Fair Housing, and other financial program rules and applications Capacity to transition from working alone to on a team Ability to concentrate in a busy environment

Tool and Equipment Requirements



Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Associate's degree in property management or equivalent from technical school, or six months experience in Tax Credit property management Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Capability to drive in all weather conditions

Environmental Factors



Work is conducted in an office environment or at apartment locations
