Leadman

SUMMARY

Support existing department supervision and ensure maximum efficiency is maintained in the department.

Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain the quality of the units produced Maintain a safe working environment by watching for and correcting unsafe acts and conditions Assist in the training of employees Assist in troubleshooting problems (equipment, employee and production-related) Assist in maintaining production rates Communicate with Foreman on a regular and open basis May be required to handle hazardous materials and waste (Employees will receive training from their supervisors) On an annual basis, the Gunderson QA manual must be reviewed

Ability to read a tape measure.
Ability to follow verbal/written instructions.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers/trainers.

Experience and Education

*Manufacturing or construction experience is a plus.

Exposure to heat, cold, noise, grease, smoke, fumes, gases, toxic chemicals, and inclement weather conditions
