We believe in the importance of early childhood education and are actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to join our Rochester team.


As the Lead Toddler Teacher, you have responsibility for day-to-day classroom activities with the support and collaboration of an assistant teacher to provide the best possible learning experience for young children utilizing the High Scope curriculum.


Position Details:
Status: Regular, full-time (40 hours/week)
Schedule: Monday - Friday (7am-4pm & 8:30am-5:30pm)
Pay rate- $15-$20/hour (based on certification or degree and years of experience)
Location: Onsite, Rochester, MI


Please note: This position does NOT qualify for US Visa Sponsorship or relocation.


Qualifications:
CDA (Child Development Associate) credential required
Bachelor's or associate degree in early childhood education, child development or child-related field preferred
Minimum of one year experience in a toddler classroom required
CPR Certification
Willing to pursue higher education in accordance with NAEYC and Michigan Child Care Licensing guidelines for ECE Teachers

Essential functions:
Ensures overall safety of children
Develop and implement daily lesson plans based on individual student's needs and interests
Implement HighScope curriculum, philosophy, and assessment tools
Conduct Parent Teacher conferences
Comply with licensing rules, regulations, and procedures
Attend Heartfelt Impressions company/school meetings
Partner with parents and assist students regarding "Toilet Learning" approaches
Participate in snack and meal service Family Style Dining
Ensure cleaning tasks are completed
Ensure the classroom is engaging and developmentally age appropriate
