We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Technician to oversee maintenance and technical operations of multi-family residential buildings. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in building maintenance, operations, and troubleshooting with extensive knowledge of electrical systems, and preventative maintenance. As the Lead Technician, you will be responsible for supervising technical staff, work orders are executed effectively and efficiently, ensuring equipment reliability, and maintaining safety standards. Your expertise in field service will be vital to optimizing operational efficiency and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Duties
Lead and coordinate maintenance activities across the manufacturing facility, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
Supervise a team of technicians, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing work environment.
Utilize software to track work orders, schedule preventive maintenance, and analyze equipment performance data.
Perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance to ensure operational continuity.
Conduct inspections to identify faults and implement corrective actions efficiently.
Operate power and manual tools, as needed.
Maintain compliance with safety protocols related to OSHA, industrial standards, and other regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, reduce downtime, and enhance overall equipment effectiveness.
Must own a personal vehicle
Must possess a valid driver's license
Must be bilingual (Spanish & English)
Must be committed to providing the highest level of customer service.
Qualifications
Extensive experience in residential building operations is essential.
Strong plumbing and electrical background with hands-on experience in handyman tasks.
Demonstrated leadership skills with previous experience supervising technicians or field service teams.
Ability to analyze complex problems quickly using analysis skills to determine root causes and implement effective solutions.
Experience working with platforms for maintenance planning and documentation is preferred.
Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish; ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams including customer service functions.
