Duties and Responsibilities:

We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain end-to-end

software solutions for our car wash operations. The ideal candidate will be able to identify and build

software solutions to improve departmental efficiency within tight deadlines. As a Software Engineer

at Whitewater Express Car Wash, you will be responsible for project completion and be the first

point-of-contact to collaborate with multiple teams to create solutions focused on improving

efficiency, reliability, and security of our internal workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing software solutions to automate and optimize various operational aspects.
• Maintaining off-the-shelf software solutions and administering SQL/MySQL databases.
• Collaborating with teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and prioritize tasks.
• Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code using industry best practices.
• Conducting thorough testing and debugging of software applications.
• Implementing security measures to protect sensitive data.
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance.
• Leading software integration initiatives using API and PHP.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer.
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, API, and database management systems.
• Experience with web development frameworks and cloud computing environments.
• Familiarity with 3rd party automations and version control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing business demands.
• Ability to manage time and work well under pressure.
• Flexibility to handle multiple work streams.
• Ability to work on-site at our Vintage Park office in Houston, TX.
