Job Title: Lead Site Owner's Safety Representative



We are seeking a highly skilled and personable

Lead Site Safety Representative

to lead a team of safety professionals on a complex, high-value pharmaceutical construction site. Acting as the primary safety liaison for the site owner, this role demands deep expertise in

electrical safety

, along with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams. Experience in

Process Safety Management (PSM)

is a plus.

Previous Site Owners Rep experience is highly desired!



Salary Compensation:

$50-65/hour, depending on experience. This position is a temporary W-2 position with full-time hours (50-60 hours per week, OT paid at time-and-a-half). Per-diem will be considered for non-local candidates. In this job, the employee works on the construction site, working to ensure the safe operations of all trades and workers on-site on behalf of the Paragon client, the site owner

Key Responsibilities:



Leadership & Team Management:


Lead and mentor a team of safety professionals, ensuring alignment with site owner expectations and fostering a proactive safety culture.

Electrical Safety Expertise:


Oversee and enforce electrical safety protocols, including LOTO procedures, arc flash hazard assessments, and safe energization practices.

Compliance & Auditing:


Conduct regular site inspections and audits using Safety Reports software. Ensure full compliance with OSHA standards, corporate policies, and site-specific safety plans.

Incident Investigation & Reporting:


Lead investigations into safety incidents and near misses. Prepare detailed reports and present findings to corporate leadership with actionable recommendations.

Contractor Coordination:


Collaborate with the General Contractor and subcontractors to ensure safety best practices are implemented and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Training & Orientation:


Deliver safety orientations and ongoing training to site personnel. Promote safe work behaviors through coaching and positive reinforcement.

Soft Skills & Communication:


Serve as a trusted advisor and communicator, capable of navigating complex interpersonal dynamics and influencing safety outcomes through empathy, clarity, and professionalism.

PSM (Preferred):


Apply knowledge of Process Safety Management principles where applicable, especially in high-risk or regulated environments.

Ideal Candidate Profile:



MUST

have large pharmaceutical safety leadership experience MUST have an OSHA 500, CHST, CSP, or ASP. Strong background in

electrical safety

, including NFPA 70E and OSHA Subpart S compliance. Proven leadership experience managing safety teams on large-scale projects ($1 Billion+). Exceptional

soft skills

--able to build trust, communicate effectively, and lead with empathy. Experience in

GC or site owner capacity

with a deep understanding of construction safety operations. Familiarity with

PSM frameworks

is a strong plus. Proficient in safety audit tools and reporting software, especially Safety Reports*.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US and pass a background check and drug screen.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
