Lead Technician
to join our team and help continue our mission of restoring properties -- and peace of mind -- for our customers.
Position Summary
The
Lead Technician
is responsible for overseeing and performing restoration projects involving
water, fire, and mold damage
. This position plays a key role in ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company standards and industry best practices. The Lead Technician provides hands-on leadership in the field, manages crew members, communicates with customers and insurance adjusters, and ensures high-quality results on every job.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and perform restoration services including
water extraction, structural drying, fire and smoke cleaning, deodorization, and mold remediation
.
Supervise and train field technicians, ensuring adherence to company procedures and safety protocols.
Conduct job site inspections, document progress, and communicate updates with project managers and office staff.
Monitor job progress and ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within scope.
Maintain equipment and vehicles in a clean, safe, and organized manner.
Provide exceptional customer service by explaining processes, managing expectations, and resolving concerns promptly.
Ensure all documentation (job notes, moisture readings, photos, etc.) is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
Follow all OSHA and company safety requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum
2 years of experience
in the restoration industry (water, fire, and/or mold).
IICRC certifications preferred (WRT, ASD, FSRT, AMRT, etc.).
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work in varying environments, including confined spaces and in personal protective equipment (PPE).
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and be available for on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
