Lead Interior Designer

BEAUTIFUL Custom Homes | Cache Valley, Utah $72,000-$90,000 DOE

We are a growing, high-end custom home builder seeking a Lead Designer to lead our design department. This role is perfect for a highly organized, client-focused designer who wants real responsibility, creative freedom, and the opportunity to shape the homes -- and systems -- of a premium design-build company.

This is not a production drafting role. This is a leadership position responsible for managing design projects, running client meetings, controlling budgets, and elevating our design experience.

What You'll Own

You will fully own the design side of each home -- from concept to final sign-off:

Lead client design meetings and selections appointments Create and manage floor plans, elevations, and design concepts Produce 2D and 3D elevations and presentation drawings Build and maintain spec books and standards Guide clients through selections and upgrades Align designs with budgets and project goals Coordinate design changes and approvals Maintain organized design files, schedules, and sign-offs Improve and evolve our design systems as we grow Work with our Construction Managers to insure quality installs

What We're Looking For

3+ years of residential design experience (custom homes preferred) Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Excellent communicator -- confident leading clients and meetings Strong design taste with a practical, build-smart mindset Comfortable managing multiple projects Experience with Chief Architect (or ability to learn quickly) Able to own deadlines, decisions, and accountability In-office, team-oriented, professional presence

Compensation & Benefits
