Lead Resident Assistant
This position reports directly to the Program Manager. This position directly supervises the Resident Assistant staff and works collaboratively with the Executive Director / Clinical Director / Operations Manager to ensure effective delivery of residential services. The Lead Resident Assistant is assigned responsibility for daily implementation of the day to day basic residential services.
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Supervises the delivery of basic services (shelter, food, hygiene) to individuals and families served at the facility, to include mail/postage process received at the facility
Supervises and organizes daily client services and support functions
Supervises the Resident Assistant staff
Develops weekly staff schedule for Resident Assistant staff; maintains staffing pattern for Resident Assistant staff to ensure adequate shift coverage at all times
Provides support, one-to-one training and supervision to Resident Assistant staff, under the direction of the Executive Director / Clinical Director
Works collaboratively with Executive Director / Clinical Director to maintain high standards of program implementation
Prevents or de-escalates/defuses any verbal/physical altercations at facility including submitting written report to Clinical Team concerning these events
Implements and makes necessary provisions to the fluidity of services
Conveys needs to Executive Director / Operations Manager / Program Assistant to maintain supply inventory of evaluation supplies (UA/BA supplies), and meal service coordination
Implements UA/BA testing under the direction of the Clinical Team, in order to promote a sober environment
Works closely with fiscal operations to monitor budget specific to Resident Assistant staff needs, to include evaluation supplies, front office supplies, client room inventory, and uniforms
Implements and manages safety and emergency procedures, to include reports functions, records maintenance, and updating emergency documents
Ensures the accurate tracking and reporting of all residential services delivered at the facility and ensuring timely submission of these reports, to include bed summary reporting, bed statistics, UA/BA reporting, meal documentation, vehicle maintenance, and other reports as needed to ensure smooth operations and timely report submission
Collaborates with fiscal operations to perform annual inventory of facility furniture / equipment
Maintains client current vehicle information, i.e., copy driver license, safety inspection, registration, and insurance card, in order for client to receive onsite parking privilege.
Identifies and ensures adherence to programmatic protocols. Staff who have a valid driver's license and meet company insurance requirements may be requested to complete a provided driver training course and drive company vehicles for work- related activities to include client transportation.

Clean abstract required
Bachelor's degree preferred or 3 or more years' experience with programmatic aspects of operating large scale homeless services facility and / or work in the non- profit area of equal length of time
Proven leader with ability to manage 10 to 20 residential line staff
Must be efficient in client-centered philosophy and skilled in creating and implementing a sober environment
Strong computer skills, to include spreadsheet functions and reports functions
Must be energetic, dedicated to the mission and flexible
Prefer knowledge/experience working in the Waianae area
Valid driver's license preferred. If driving company vehicles, must meet company insurance requirements and complete a provided driver training course
