Overview:
The position provides high-level task oversight for the Repair Administration group. Provides critical component repairs analyses to support operational requirements.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily repairs group functions including creating, closing, and updating repair and exchange orders.
Provides management reports on supplier and departmental performance
Communicate daily with AOG desk, Check and other departments about urgently needed parts.
Responsible for disposition of components for repair/overhaul.
Ability to support a flexible work schedule when needed to support operational demands.
Responsible for ensuring that only approved vendors are used for component repair and overhaul.
Responsible for ensuring existing contracts are being followed by both Atlas and Vendor.
Oversee the day-to-day operation of scrapped parts. MRQ Cleanup
Ensures the timely and cost-effective shipping of repaired items.
Research status of open and closed repair and exchange orders as required.
Performs additional projects assigned by the Sr. Manager of Repair Administration.
Qualifications:
BS/BA preferred
3-5 years of airline material management experience.
Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a faced paced environment
Excellent communication skills
Strong computer skills with emphasis on advanced Excel functions used for reporting and analysis
